  • Since 2011 Member of the Board of the mutual savings bank NASPA, Wiesbaden

  • Since 1986 Professor of Economics and Business Administration at the RheinMain University Wiesbaden, FRG. 1988 – 1991 vice-Dean, 1991 – 1993 Dean.

  • 2002 – 2003 member of scientific board of the German Federal Government Committee „Reform of Local Taxation“. 1998 – 2001 member of the German Federal Government Committee „Reform of Corporate Taxation“, which has elaborated the German Tax Reform 2001-2005.

  • Since 1986 more than 40 projects in the fields of energy systems; new information technologies; economic and ecological evaluation of infrastructure investments; international comparison of taxation and influence on investments and jobs. On behalf of European Union, German Federal, Länder and Local Governments, private companies.

  • Since 1980: Invitations as an expert by the European Parliament, Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs, Strassbourg, by the European Commission, Brussels and by OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-Operation & Development), Paris, and by several committees of the German Federal Parliament (Deutscher Bundestag).
  • 1981 – 1985: Managing partner of a consulting company in Regensburg/FRG. Manifold work abroad, on behalf of World Bank, OECD/IEA, European Commission, German Government, private companies.

  • 1981 – 1985: In addition lecturer at the University and the College of Regensburg, FRG in the fields of energy economics and business administration.

  • 06/1977 – 12/1980: Managing director for several research projects (up to 10 employees) on behalf of the International Energy Agency, OECD/IEA, Paris and German Federal Ministry on Research and Technology, Bonn.
